Modules are 1,5mm to big

I hope that the size will be reduced in the production version.
Are the mentioned dimensions 51x49x19mm incorrect then? Or when wired it wont fit in the 60mm box anymore?

At first it sounded a bit strange to me. But when I had another good look at the size it is actually quite logical that this is not going to fit.
A junction box has a diameter of 60mm, but is usually round.
The module is rectangular and has a 72mm diagonal (sqrt (+ 52kwdrt 50kwdrt)). That would be even 12mm too much. But it has slightly rounded edges. But probably not enough. Typical case of oops .....?
I was wondering why the delivery was postponed everytime.

The pre version will not fit thats for sure.
I hoop that they can reduce the size a bit more.

Also some other products from Aeon are delayed like the multi sensor.
This product also looks very promising.

For now we have to doit it with Duwi, ACT and Merten.

The smallest zwave module is the merten micro switch 4 gang.
This is a one is even smaller dan Xanura.
you can use your existing switch series

few problems..
It's just a remote
battery powered (merten is promising 10 years of batter power with one battery)
You will need switches / dimmers at the switching point. This can be duwi insert modules.
You need the Merten USB interface for programing the module. There is almost no chance that this can be done without Merten USB interface.
price.....

Slightly comparable problem i found with the duwi dimmer module. The connection wires are on de left side loacted and this is in 80% of the cases exactly the position of the fixing screws. With a bit fidling i managed to get the wires underneath the "nokjes met schroefdraad" screws so it fitted. If you have "inbouwdozen" with an extended threat then you could have a problem to fit the module.

If all goes wel I will have my Zwave order in house by tommorow or the day after, all Aeon-labs. I have among others, ordered 3 x microswitch. (2 x Micro Smart Energy Switch and 1 x Smart Energy Illuminator) I will try to see if they fit in the standard build in box. W'll see. Also are comming in are 4 of the new multisensors. I am very qurious as of how they will do. 8)

Let us know how it performs and if possible pics on installation, looking to see if I can use these in my home and with these sizes it's going to be tight or impossible.

Just for your information:
It is still unknown release time for all micromodules from the Aeon Labs. Devices that you will receive are just a samples. The End products will be different so long Aeon Labs will do some PCB design changes, maybe another hardware/software updates...
