When I tried to run OpenRemote (Java based HA software) about a year ago on Mini2440 I had big problems. I don't remember exactly what problems I had, but there were a lot. And I tried 2-3 different JVM for ARM on Linux and Windows CE. I don't have good experience with Java and ARM, and maybe that was the real problem... ;)

Especially the first one has some nice systems based on usage purpose.
