SC9000 and garage

Post by chrispazz »

Hello. I am moving in a new home that is in a building.
My apartment will be at 3rd floor and I will also have a garage in underground floor.
That garage will have electricity connected to my apartment.
Is it possibile to connect an IR/Movement sensor in garage and have it connected to my SC9000?

I am worried about length of cables from garage to my apartment.....

Thank you
Christian

If you have already powerline cables, you could have some space to insert a 2 wires cable , as thin as the telephone cable. Use it to connect sc9000 with dry alarm contacts placed on the garage door itself.
ciao, lorenzo
