Modify addressable powersupply camera to 230V
From the X10.com site, I have bought a wireless camera (model XC18A). It comes with a 110V addressable power supply (model XM13A). I want to modify it to 230V operation, but not by using a stepdown transformer (with a 0.1 uF capacitor between the 110V and 230V transformer connection). Inside the power supply is a transformer, with 3 wires leaving the secondary side. The incoming 110V power is connected to the primary transformer windings and also (2 wires) to the pcb. I have found no information on this forum or on the internet on how to modify it for 230V operation. Can anyone please share his experience, or have suggestions or schematics?
