Oregon scientific WTGR 800

Post by Harry »

i think my receiver can handle Oregon 3.0 protocol.
course my rain unit works fine.
the red led blinks on the WTGR800 after i press the reset button.
but i don't get a signal when turning the RFX monitor on (and enabling all RF)
the Oregon wheather minitor that came whith the set, do olso get no signal.
are there nown fealures on the WTGR800 units?

Thanks for the comments on the wind metering. I received my WTGR last week and everything worked except the wind meter. The screw was hidden, but with the hint from this forum it was solved...

I've tried to acquire this one in the recent past as well but haven't succeeded so far. All of the (dutch) webshops which listed this article as "on stock" came back with a no longer available statement after putting the order.

Apparently there is no replacement for this combined Anemometer, temperature and humidity sensor. Although the WGR800 seems to be the successor of the WTGR 800, it lacks the temperature and humidity sensor.
