Hey all, I am very new to the forum. I had a glimpse on other projects but couldn't find the thing that I want.
I am doing a small research on load patterns of appliances and have this plugwise devices. Its a good system but i do not understand why it doesn't save the history of instantaneous power usage. I can see it is updating at every 4-5 seconds on the 'source' screen.
Is there a way to record power consumption history with high resolution, record for every 5 seconds (not 1-hour average).
This is crucially important for me, thanks in advance for your help.
Plugwise instantaneous power consumption
Re: Plugwise instantaneous power consumption
Don't think the standard software can do this.
You could probably write something that pulls the more or less 'real' live data from the system and write that to the DB.
A higher resolution than once per 5 seconds is probably not possible because I don't think the plugs send more updates than once per 5 seconds.

Re: Plugwise instantaneous power consumption
there are enough solutions on this forum, for example get an XML every X seconds from the plugwise webserver.
