When I use the slider, The Dimmer isn't working.
log file:

2013/03/10 12:01:01 [RFXComTRX] Unknown Lighting1 command 'DIM 29' given!
2013/03/10 12:01:03 [RFXComTRX] Unknown Lighting1 command 'DIM 29' given!
2013/03/10 12:01:12 [RFXComTRX] Unknown Lighting1 command 'DIM 60' given!
2013/03/10 12:01:13 [RFXComTRX] Unknown Lighting1 command 'DIM 60' given!
2013/03/10 12:01:14 [RFXComTRX] Unknown Lighting1 command 'DIM 79' given!
2013/03/10 12:01:16 [RFXComTRX] Unknown Lighting1 command 'DIM 79' given!
(ie. you can not gradually dim up from the off state).
Correct.. When I try to dim in the Off state, the log reports:

12:02:57 [RFXComTRX] Unknown Lighting1 command 'DIM 0' given!

Dim/Bright isn't implemented in DomotiGa's RFXcomTRX code right now.
Simply because I couldn't imagine someone would use it, you can't do absolute dimming, just up/down, ie dim/bright.
You now seem to have extended x0 enabled so you get a slider instead of +/- buttons.
But Dim 27 will never work with X10.

Thanks Ron,

The purpose is dimming the whole livingroom when I want to see a movie or when I turn on the fireplace  .. With one function dimming all the lights in the livingroom.. :D
I tried the +/- buttons as well but no luck. After the +/- buttons I tried the slider with extended x10 enabled.

I want to use dimming also for my window-shutters ( SW10 shutterswitch).. Now I can only open or close the shutters.. With a dimfunction I'm able to open or close the shutters halfway or a percent of it.

I have added the dim and bright commands to the last code.
Maybe you can try it.

Update/copy the code and binaries from svn (svn up in domotiga dir) and set the device to normal dimming (ie do not enabled extended X10)
then you should get + and - buttons on control panel.
clicking them should send dim and bright commands.
