i am thinking of fitting an smile to my system, course there is fitted a smartmeter today in our house.
and my old logging system (rfxcom) is not possible anymore.

i like to have my electr and gas counters in homeseer,... can that be done?
with an smile trough sourse into homeseer?

i don't want to use the plugwise phone app !!
i like only to have the data local, and not on a portal from plugwise.

There are other, cheaper (and gauranteed private), better ways.

Arduino, Raspberry, you name it and it's doable, just search the web (and this forum).
I think with a Raspberry Pi and the MQTT Plugin (http://www.domoticaforum.eu/viewforum.php?f=74) you've also got the link with Homeseer...

Use the homeseer plugwise plug-in and you can see these info. The plugin works together with the plugwise source software so that's pre-requisite.

you have to run the config of source where you add your plugs and check a checkbox there which says you have a smile.

Every week on the same day and at the same timestamp (after last restart), the Smile hangs and can't report any data. Even I can't open the html pages itself.
Only solve is to restart the device.

Smile fw version: 1.2.14

Anyone familiair with this problem?

btw: I don't use Source, only HS plugin from Rien and Smilereader from Phoenix, but both has nothing to do with the problem described above.

Firmware version 2.x should be available by now. If not, you can contact plugwise and they put you on the beta list
I run 2.x versions for months now, without any issues.
