1 Wire send from arduino with 433Mhz

Post by Dylantje »

Like the head says...
Is this possible.
I hav on my 3th floor morethings that i will monitor with 1 wire. [ solarpanels, inverter, hot watertank on solar, temp Cv etc..]
Only my RPi with Domoticz is on the other side of my house,

Is there a option that i use a arduino as a satellier ot node ?
All my 1 wire sensors to the arduino.
A 433Mhz Transmitter on the arduino..
One powersupply....

Search the arduino in Domoticz, with the RFXcom, and i have more 1 wire's that i can see in the dashbord...

Is this possible??
Some one have this working al ready?
Sketch?

Maybe a BMP085 on it to?

Arduino & 1-Wire is a breeze. I've used DS1820 temperature sensors & JeeNodes (Arduino compatible but doesn't work with shields, but can run battery powered) to measure all in- and outgoing water temperatures of our central heating radiators.

But Arduino & RFXCOM is another ball game - I don't even know if it has ever been done.

BMP085 is not that hard;done that.

I was thinking that would be great a satelliet sensor.
And there must be more options with teh arduino, for a 433Mhz transmitter.
The mega works with more hardware.

Maybe there is some where a arduino project what like for idea.
Only i connot find id.

when you have a rfxtrx 433 mhz, you can use a rfxsensor like this http://www.rfxcom.com/store/Sensors/40066
you can use 7 sensors, and it works great

Hi Dylantje,
How did it go with this project?
I'm starting to play with my RFXtrx433/Domoticz, and would like to create my own sensors for sound (washing machine finishes with a beep) and plant soil humidity alarm (since I can't seem to find any ready sensors for a reasonable price). It seems perhaps the Arduino UNO R3 might a good solution for this. Provided that it can transmit to the RFXtrx433...
So I am very curious in hearing if you have come any further on this?
