-Looks like it applies some sort of 'Median Cut' filter to the image, cutting down on noise, but alson on image detail.

Manual zoom, good IR. resolution is 358 or 640, camera is BNC so this is the resolution done by the DVR where are connected 9 BNC cameras. Note that outside it's completly dark! No lights, only trees and forest.
