GL.INET

GL.INET smart router device :

(click for large)

Image

Unlike the similar TL-WR703N, this device has 5 free GPIO pins on a 2mm pitch header and 3.3V and 5V on another 2.54mm pitch header. (and more memory)

top left: GL.INET (modified with 1-wire DS18B20 temperature sensor connected to free GPIO pin.)
top right: TP-Link TL-WR703N
bottom left: Carambola 2
bottom right : Anker 40W 5-poort usb lader, very useful device to supply 5 devices with 5V.

The GL.INET is one of many devices with a Qualcomm/Atheros AR9331 SoC and the OpenWRT operating systeem :

for example :

GL.INET

Arduino Yun

Carambola 2

Dragino

TP-Link TL-WR703N

DPT Board (from Belgium)

etc.

It is very easy to run mosquitto on any of these devices.

(Note that not all of these devices have CE certification)

There is no question.
Does every post on this forum have to be a question ?
This device, that I found on ebay recently, may be of interest to some people.
