Error 03 with Tado opentherm stat

Post by Dickuk »

I have finally got around to buying an opentherm thermostat (Tado) which I have connected through the opentherm gateway and initially all was well (I was seeing it sending temperatures and also modulating the boiler too)

But after a short time, I am now seeing a lot of Error 03's.

I tried changing the offset on all settings, but the issue is the same.

I cannot figure out why it was stable initially but then went wrong.

Attached is my log, my boiler is an Atag A325ECX

Any help appreciated

Thanks

Richard

At least some of those Error 03 occurrences don't seem to match with when an OT message is expected. Possibly there is some noise on the line between the OTGW and the thermostat. At the time the errors started, did you start using some piece of equipment that is close to the OT wiring, or has its power cord running next to it?

Otherwise, run diagnostics test #2 during a period when you experience a lot of Error 03's.
