Which new Body weight scale?

My BWR102 don't work anymore, but I really would like to have a new body weight scale that can be connected to my HA system (Homeseer).
What kind of device are you using and which connection is used to your HA system (RF, bluetooth, etc)?

The FITBIT ARIA WIFI SMART SCALE could be an option. Via the Fitbit plugin maybe it's possible to retrieve the last measurement.

I've got a Withings (Nokia owned nowadays) "Smart" Body Analyzer (http://www.withings.com/ca/en/products/ ... y-analyzer) over here.

Data goes per default to the "cloud" which you can then visualize in their website (with export option) or in the Withings App, but with a small DNS hijack and for instance https://github.com/damonachey/Withings (there are a few other setups out there), you can log stuff locally...


The only partially annoying thing about this device is battery time, takes a few AA batteries that one has to switch out every ~6 months or so.

Also as it uses Wifi (though apparently one could make the thing bluetooth only... that is talk through your phone which will then call home...) it needs to have proper wifi coverage in the location you put it

I bought the Fitbit Aria last weekend. The Fitbit plugin doesn't work, so i connected it (don't want to, but for the weight scale it's fine), it via IFTTT, to write the values to a txt file in Dropbox. Finally I retrieve the data into virtual devices.
