Okay, but where is it stored?
But I gather if you change it nothing happens?

Thanks!

Hi TheHogNL

Thanks for all your good work on the TSC menu!

Is it posible to make a "tiles to display" selector in the Rotate menu setings?
Regards

That would be a lot of work and hard to maintain within different firmware levels as Quby also constantly changes the code.
Currently it works by just rotating all tiles in page 2, 3 etc to the tile(s) in page 1. Is that not good enough?

Would it be an idea to add an option to enable experimental features?
I.e. enabling Smart Radiator Valves like described in viewtopic.php?f=97&t=12222 ?

I thought about this but it would enable inexperencied rooted-toon users to completly destroy the toon. Everything clickable in a GUI should be more or less user friendly :-)

But if you want to test with radiator valves in a toon2 I can tell you how to enable them. Just ask for it in that topic.

The STRV feature is not yet fully implemented and/or tested. Has too much dependancies as marcelr mentioned in that topic. STRV's from different brands react differently while it should be all the same. Maybe that the Toon2 has only the z-wave libraries for a couple of brands but as there is no official announcement from Eneco/Quby it can only tested by trial-and-error which is not very user-friendly :)

Question: in "Toggle Native Toon Features" I disabled (Toon) Boiler Monitor App, however after a reboot "CV-ketel" is still showing in the app list.
Do you have any idea why this app is still there?

Hi, I don't know a lot about toon, so i think better to ask than to do something stu...
I have looked up the internet but could not find the answer to my question.

Get on screen: Er is een TSC resource file update beschikbaar. Update via TSC menu AUB
What does this mean. Can it do any harm. Can i reach toon afterwards. Thx

You can safely upgrade, this is our own version of the resource file for your firmware, including images used in custom apps.
It is not a firmware upgrade.

I also received the message today that a TSC resource files was available, and to update via the menu.
I did but the Toon seemed to hang in the TSC menu.
After some pressing on the screen after 10 minutes or so, the Toon seemed to reboot.
So I thought fine, went outside to work in the garden. And when I came back after a few hours it was still booting.
Now it won't boot any more.
I can still SSH into the Toon, but it won't boot anymore.
I'll see if I can download the TSC resource file manually and upload it to the Toon.
I'm on 5.2.11 firmware.

Anything else I need to check?

Ok so it seems like the resources-static-ebl.rcc was empty, after uploading the correct data and rebooting it started working again.
Very strange.

How did you find out? I've updated the TSC file tonight as well, now my Toon is in a bootloop.

Try to run the update-rooted.sh script manually.
update-rooted.sh -v 5.5.7

It will re-install the latest firmware and packages and most likely will fix your issues.
