Yep 4.10.6 is the first next mandatory firmware. The script will force it for you if you try any higher.

it worked like a charm;
From 4.9.* to 4.10.* to 4.15.*
Only minor issue; Dastics and Rotating Tile; aren't TOONStore apps.
And you need to manual reactivated those.

The rotating tiles is a mod of the standard homescreen app. I have not yet applied the mod to the 4.15.6 firmware. Will do after the holidays......(or do it yourselves

Worked like a charm here too! Upgraded to 4.10.6 and then to the latest available version without much of an issue. SSH still works - I am happy!

I have pressed the factory recovery?
And now he asks to activate.
I have read that <wizzardDone> and <Activated> on 1 in
Folder: /HCBv2/config or /mnt/data/qmf/config
File: config_happ_scsync.xml must be set.
I have manual seen in
viewtopic. ...971#p83254
But with me there is a lot different: /mnt/data/qmf/config# config_happ_scsync.xml
How can I solve this

You are in the correct file. Just modify it to reflect the settings which has been talked about in the forum many times.

They changed their update script again. I just checked it for any problems regarding upgrading on a rooted toon but it is still ok.
I just updated the rooting update script with the new md5sum so when you use the new script (2.86) from the github it will not complain anymore.

Super, this time it works very smoothly no issues at, it did also all the fixes.
The only thing what is strange for me is that it shows in the menu
connected with service center I never had that before.
How do I now that it is not connected with the service center? I checked
and I see #ovpn: is with #
So I think this is fine? and it is not connected with the service center?

That's the magic fixing part of the script in the end
It changes the notification bar to hide the service center error messages and changes the internet settings app to fake a connection to the service center. These are mods which are somewhere in the forum but not in the general how-to-root-guide.
If you have the # in the inittab file in front of the openvpn you can rest asure that the connection is not really there.

This script enabled the VPN for updating so if VPN is disabled it will the temporarily enabled for the update.
