400Kb upload for a single web-cam will do depending on the stream protocol you use. The modules with actors in them will switch directly the light on and transmit the address and status over the power line to possible other devices or receivers. I think for some dimmers it will be the same, can't tell for sure cause I have no dimmer running yet (pretty sure). I will experiment with Xanura dimmers in the near future.
