@Carlo please keep us informed, and as far as special requirements: maybe you can develop a wireless model as well.
With wireless I mean encrypted wireless data communication with a server or controller. Power is not too difficult to get around the house, but a data cable is somewhat more tricky (at least at my place).
I'm looking for a device that can trigger my alarm mode by holding an ibutton(ish) near the sensor. I don't want it to be unarmed if I'm in proximity of the house. This would mean the alarm would be switched off during the night and only on once I'm off to work...
