You can change the type of an appliance via de 'apparaten' display. Select an appliance that you want to change. At the bottom there is a select box, with the current type selected. Select another type and there you go.

I did the upgrade to the latest plugwise version and everything worked OK for me. Even my Bwired home brewed interface with the source software worked immediately :-)
I also see that the upload of user data is changed by plugwise, now you can choose if you want to upload the data to plugwise.
The only downside to that is that you have no support anymore? (see below), hopefully they will change this also very soon, I think they have to maintain the support!

@rualblas: I do think it is something in your setup. For me it is working OK, never seen that error while the Source was running.

A lot of things are fixed, depends on which version you are running now.
One of the important one is the 0 watt bug while a device is running.
Check the topics for all the changes.

I also experienced strange things. Some plugs did not report anything, others were offline. After restarting the Source everything recovered.

I have some problems recurring almost everyday and which are solved by restarting the Source. Some appliances are no longer updating the usage history statistics while the current statistics are OK. The status of these appliances is OK when looking in the source (they have a bright bulb as icon), however when you use the webinterface, these appliances have a question mark as icon meaning the status is unknown. Because the Homeseer plugin uses the web interface of the Source, the status is incorrect here too. When I restart the source everything recovers and the historic data is updated.
