How about using the 1-Wire Counter and combine that with something Arduino compatible?
(read this for example: http://sheepdogguides.com/arduino/asw1onew1.htm)
I'd say it's worth investigating if this can be done (but i leave that up to you :) )

I would say this would be a situation where the Plugwise Stealth would be something to consider.

Electricity/Energy Logging Solution ......

I'm a fan of the Brultech ECM 1240 which has 7 channels and starts at $180 usd per unit including CTs.

You can use Ch7 to count pulses such as gas meter.
The engine or collection software can tie together 6 ECM units.
Remarkable value ~ (6x200) $1200 for 42 channels of which 6 channels can designated as counters or temperature inputs.
Multiple CTs can be combined to share a channel
You can also have virtual channels as well
eg on a 7 channel with 1 as house plus 6 other circuits a virtual channel can be 'remaining unmonitored loads.
You can use virtual channels to sum up all your lighting circuits if needed.
The dashboard software is under beta but pretty good as it stands.
The unit is accurate and deals with power factor
The unit supports microgeneration such as solar PV etc
Google PowerMeter is also supported and just works
You can use 3 (or more) units to solve 3 phase logging (contact brultech directly by email)
Data and sample resolution is also very good.
No need to be a software ninja to pull it together

Details on pricing here (scroll down till you see ECM-1240)

I have a few posts on my blog (hit brultech or ECM on the search)

Go for your jacuzzi, i own also a jacuzzi and have a power usage of 7000/8000Khw pro year.
I have the jacuzzi modified with a Marmitek appliancemodule on the circulationpump.

And create some events on time, your jacuzzi is a highpower monster like 3000-6000W!!.

So keep your mind on the jacuzzi, that's your problem

Also your airco is a high powermonster.

Good luck.
