Since today the Buienradar temperature shows NaN °C.
Have they changed anything in the format?

Hi all,

version 9.0.2 is available in the ToonStore.
It is a complete rewrite of the application.
I now use the new JSON data feed from buienradar (https://data.buienradar.nl/2.0/feed/json) instead of the old XML file (https://data.buienradar.nl/1.0/feed/xml)
The JSON file seems to be more reliable and is much easier to process (40% less lines of code needed).
Compared to the old version 8.5.13 no new functionality has been added, one small bug has been removed in the location screen.
The top half of the detail screen layout has some cosmetic improvements.

I have a rooted toon (boxx from Engie in Belgium) and Installed buienradar. But many options like pollenradar, muggenradar , show only the Nederlands as a country. Is it possible to add Belgium and the wether stations of Belgium?

I just had a look, I can indeed show the radar images from buienradar.be (funny enough these are hosted at the buienradar.nl server but that aside).
For the rest the app needs to be rebuild completely (= new BE app) as buienradar.be is not supplying the JSON file with all weather stations as for NL which is the foundation for the current app.

Will see what I can do coming week.....

EDIT: had a closer look and can easily implement the city selection process from buienradar.be.
All weather details need to be scraped from the webpage, little bit of work but expect a "Buienradar Belgium" app in the ToonStore at some point in the future (no commitment on a specific release date )

Thanks Toonz. That”s great! The biggest and most important wether station in Belgium is Ukkel, nervy Bruxelles and where I live. I’m thrilled and excited too see the result. Especially the pollenradar will be of great help here. I hope to hear from you soon.

Hi MarieJo,

I noticed that the weather data in Belgium is not refreshed very often (at 14:35 still showing data from 13:00) compared to the NL weather stations which are updated every 10-20 minutes.
Anyway, better then nothing. I started today, by far not finished but a quick preview of the work-in-progress below as a teaser .

EDIT: at 14.41 the data was updated with the weatherstation data at 14:00)

I've completed the initial release of the new "EU Buienradar" app, it will be available in the ToonStore soonish.
I will post more details in a new topic for this app when it is available.
