Bwired, this is correct for the ISKRA MT171.
for the ISKRA MT171 first you need to send "/?!" to retreive the idenfification and program version.
Then an confirmation must be send using the following command ACK 050 CR LF.
After changing the baudrate to 9600 the meter will return the data. As the data is in HEX I have another challenge

Today i heared from enexis that the optical port on the actaris Ace3000 is not always enabled and that they cannot enable these features.
Did more people encountered this ?
