perhaps you can open up your rfxcom to the internet, then jump on it a few times when bert is looking at the output.. then you dont have to send it perhaps?

I have another idea; i'll try to pickup some packets, publish them in this topic, and then you all can start guessing my weight...[:D][:D]
There's a price for the winner!

Ok guys, here's the latest News:
Bert has been able to receive the packets from the scale and we've been able to get the kg from those packets asof early this evening.
So start ordering those scales, since there's still a lot to do!
I'll come back with more details tomorrow (in the evening).

Robert.

Here's a line that shows the kg's being decode during one of Bert's tests:

40E333D41308008022 GR101 3428000819125127 Weight: 33085 = 82,5 kg bits=64

For those interested in this scale the following is needed:

- The scale itself ofcourse;
- an update of your receiver firmware.

My proposal to those who are planning to buy this scale is to share all the packets gathered by everyone, for analysis: things like location of the scale address, the WMI data, checksum etc. still need to be addressed.
And the more packets we have, the easier this will be.

Tonight i'm going to try and extract some more info from the packets.

To be continued...

Robert.

Those packages are coming in, but some are calculated by the device. So you should calculate some values based on others. (copy & paste berts talk)

The scale itself has not got a display or?
So all the other values like fat amount etc should be transmitted as well.

Only weight has been succesfully extracted from the packet yet.

And note that BMI is calculated outside the scale (= in the display unit), since length is needed for calculation of BMI.

Well for some people the display might say "one at a time please" :-)
