@Chak: How can it be any faster, does it switch before you give the command?

Ik heb geupdate naar 20090515. En ineens staat het appliance type van een aantal devices (PC's, TV's, Computers, Audio, Wireless Access Points) op overig. Daar waar ik eerst computer als type voor mijn servers gebruikte kan ik nu alleen nog overig of bureau computer kiezen:-(

There was a delay with previous version.
Delay was sometimes long...1-10 seconds.

In beta versie 20090515 van de Source is een oude fout in de web server API weer terug waardoor de plugin niet werkt. Gelukkig is er deze keer een workaround.
De fout in de webserver API is dat appliance.TypeText niet meer werkt. Als je de volgende regel uit de statistics.xml file in de Plugwise web server directory weghaalt, werkt de plugin weer:

<type><%=.TypeText%></type>

Update: This has been fixed in 20090515.3

For us it seems to work ok now, i noticed as well that some of the
older appliance types are changed to overigen. Thats probably because
this type is no longer there. The other problems i had before are working ok now (delting wrong plug id's etc)
Also the adding of new plugs/and stealths worked ok for us now.
Scheduling also seems to be ok, (i tested on the previous version 20090512)

2 things we found out on 20090515

1, The handout with the changes has wrong dates in it (all 2008 iso 2009)
2. We installed some new plugs today that had not been in the system yet. During retreiving 2 other plugs were not recognised (they were unpowered) and the 2 new plugs were identified. Situation now that system gave 42 plugs 40 found, which was correct ,the 2 newly added plugs were in the list, the 2 previously installed plugs were in the list but not found. We continued (despite the warning ) to the next step, and then it is not possible to fill in data on the 2 newly introduced plugs, they show up on the right hand in the list of devices. You have to go back to the install plugs page and wait till all the plugs are in before you can add info on new plugs.

And another one.

Once you,ve made a schedule with a name, after you,ve deleted it
it,s later not possible to add a new schedule with the same name again. It gives a warning that the name already exists,and you have to change the name to a different one.

This evening the Source showed the following popup:

I do not know what was the cause, when I looked at the screen by coincidence, it just was there. The Source was just running fine.

I am using version 20090515.3

I had exactly the same, running version 20090515.0. It started about half an hour ago. I also get that message if I click on the 'updates' button.
Not sure if it is related or possibly even normal, but when I had a look at the "instellingen-apparaten" menu, there is one module (the stick) listed as 'niet toegewezen'. This is the first time I noticed that, but it could be there a long time already.

Apart from this there are no problems, the source software is running fine, powers and graphs are being updated.

The stick is your USB stick and cannot be assigned to an appliance. So there is nothing wrong with that.

And you're right, when I press the update button ,the popup window appears again. Guess we cannot update any longer due to this bug

Off course the stick can not be assigned, I just never noticed until now it was listed as 'not assigned'. It seems more logical to me not to show the stick in this list.

Updating is indeed not possible at the moment. The strange thing is, I'm almost sure I clicked the "updates" button before in this software version and then it worked, it checked for a new version and reported there was none.

Bug in Beta. Automatic update doesn't work anymore.
Please update new beta (V20090525.0) by executing the setup:

It works, and what has been changed

i noticed that al my usage statistics that are handled by the new update seem to have doubled, and that seems to be correct now, according to the statisctics before the usage was half what would be expected.

Well, the error is gone indeed.

But now I get this all the time:
"Can not start Update:
De updatecontrole is mislukt. Probeer het later opnieuw."

V20090525.3 (after running the downloaded pwsetup_beta.exe)
