First I want to say all to everyone on these forums.
Im Jose from Portugal and Im just entering this "new" Led world.

Moving to a new house and looking for a led solution to illuminate my kitchen food preparing area (under cabinet lighting I believe ? )

Ive searching around and could find some LED strips that would be enough. I just have one problem: How do I connect all the stuff ?

Basicaly I want a thin led strip (3 to 4 meters white or warm white) with some decent power that would allow me to enter the kitchen and find my way and grab a few things without having to light on the ceiling lights.

So if someone would help me build an "illumination pack" - what LED strip, what other gear is needed, how do I connect all the things together, etc. - I would be very thankfull. :)

If it helps, the current here is 220 volts.

Thank you all in advance

Best regards
p.s. Sorry about my poor English [:)]

Jose

I just thought that beeing RGB it would need more "gizmos" (more dificult to install).

I guess not.

Thanks for the reply
Cheers

i see that you read the http://www.domoticaforum.eu/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=944?, I know this kind strip very well. The max. lenght for 1 strip only 5 meters, I advise you choose another kind strip, we use 0.3 watt LED as the lighting sources, and max. leght could last 10 meters 1 strip, I used to do a project for lighting a roof of hotel, very easy installing,if you are interested, pls contact with me: bruce8@yeah.net
