Hi,

I have build a system to control my heating. All rooms are controlled individual on time and temperature. The boiler ( Nefit ) I control via on/off control based on the boiler temperature. The boiler temperature is calculated based on the outside temperature. The system works very well. However, since my Nefit can also be modulated I am looking to control it via OpenTherm ( with Nefit convertor ).

Is there anyone who has experience with this setup ?

Looking forward for responses.

Best Regards,

Arno

I have a Nefit proline heater and I am using the Honywell Round for modulation and also had to buy the Nefit OpenTherm converter.
It works very well with the gateway!

Pretty simple.

Thermostat --- OpenTherm Gateway -- Converter -- Nefit

The converter can only be connected one way to the Nefit, other than that it doesn't matter how you connect the wires. Generally it's a good idea to connect for example Red to Red, but again, it doesn't matter.

Hi,

How can you control the CV boiler temperature directly from the OpenTherm interface ?
