A $29 bluetooth controlled motor for your existing indoor blinds and shades.

MOVE is built to fit as many different manually operated indoor blinds and shades as possible that has a cord or bead chain. MOVE can be controlled directly by a smartphone or automated based on time, temperature or solar conditions. MOVE has a lift capacity of about 8-10 kg/17-22 lb.

I was just wondering... You said that Move would have an open API. Is that only through the extra wifi bridge? Or are you also open to opening up the Bluetooth protocol, so home automation systems (like Kickstarters Homey and NEEO) can connect to it directly?

We are going to open up the Bluetooth protocol as well so there will be a lot of options regarding integration with other systems.

we will add 3 buttons and make a Wi-Fi bridge!
Upon backers request we have decided to put three buttons on MOVE in order to control it directly without any other device.

We are planning to start selling the Wi-Fi bridge (that also will work as a range extender for the bluetooth mesh network) at our website 2016-07-01.

We have chosen this timeline in order to keep a total focus on the shipment date of MOVE units and the Wi-Fi bridge will not only be a local hardware product but it require us to make a whole infrastructure with online servers in order to utilize the full potential of a Wi-Fi bridge and make it possible to control MOVE units from any place in the world with the app. We hope you can agree with us that this will be a useful function and it need to be tested, verified, secure and stable before we release it.

This is nice, i was already searching for tube motors that i could use for this indoors.
But this gives allot more variety in choice and keeps the costs much lower.
Only thing is, its great if you know how to code an api for it

Hope the wifi bridge they plan to make is easy to control by some simple commands that i can put in a script in homeseer.
