reading LED from power meter

My powermeter , has a led that flasches 10000 times for 1 Kwh
can the RFXpuls count that fast ???
for a reliable power reading?

No problem. Depending on the kWh usage it is possible that you need to set the debounce on the RFXPulse module to a lower value.

Set the debounce time now to 10Ms
seems like i get now reading from the flashing Led from my power meter.
do i have to set the sensetiviti somehowe

Or do i need to cut the top pin wire , to make reading from a led posible??

Adjust sensitivity using P1.
When the Reflecto-optical sensor is used as optical sensor only you have to cut the wire that is connected to the top pin.
The blue and ground wire are used for the optical sensor.

i have cut the wire conected to the top of the jackplug
i have adjust the p1.
can read red LED's.
but it seems that i can't read the yellow flashing LED from the power meter.
any surgestions

The LED transmits a light which is not in the receiving range of the sensor then. The solution is probably another type of sensor using the BPW85. I know that this sensor will be available at RFXCOM soon. Send an email to sales at rfxcom.com for price and availability.

the new sensor is now available , and ordered one.
only a pitty that they charge more shipmend cost than the cost of the sensor
