I have some power hungry devices that need to be switched on with a (random) delay after power failure. Now when power returns the load current is too high and the automatic fuse 'switches off'

i would assume you dont have lots of power failures no? Also depends on what types of devices your powering. Big motors? or something else?

Well if you use homeseer for instance, i think those things should be possible. Never seen an example like that, but i know that homeseer has a recovery process. I dont know if that includes turning on/off the last known state.

But those devices should be switched with x10 modules or something similar then.

Not an option, should be autonomously ... or thru serial / usb
