For the receiver and the transmitter there will be one IP
you have to give both devices different port numbers.
see the screens

witch port is the receiver and witch is the transmitter

and do you know if the oregon thn128 is working with the receiver
he is not on the working list from rfxcom.
im now on the camping and i have only this sensor here for testing

thanks ed

@ed
You can choice the ports you want.
I'm using the port 10001 for the receiver
for the transmitter 10002
if you go for this both ports you don't have to change them all the time in the standalone Rfxcom software

most of the oregon sensor are supported.
you can check this easy when you start the refxcom receiver.

in +/- 40 seconds you will see the oregon data in the receiver

Hi Chak, i have a question for you. I'm going to use rfxcom with x10 devices and in the future oregon sensors. so i need a receiver. Then when do you use a transmitter? my x10 devices are managed by sc-9000 central alarm and domotique software. Do i need a transmitter? thanks a lot for your precious info. Lorenzo

@Lorenzo,
You only need the transmitter if you like to control the devices via RF (X10,kaku,flamingo, elro etc)
In your situation there is no need for the transmitter hardware.

Lorenzo,

If you want to Arm/Disarm the SC9000 under control of the HA software you need the transmitter.

How do i connect the slave(visonic)receiver? Both ip/poortnr 10001 and 10002 are used by the masterreceiver and the transmitter.
can,t find the answer in the manual.

The slave receiver is on the same port (10001) as the master receiver. They share this port. The transmitter is on port 10002.

If you connect the receivers using RFreceiver and request the software version then both receivers will answer.
