Re: Hardware: Toon metering module, "meteradapter"
Interesting topic.
Can you explain how to make the connection from s0 output to the meteradapter? The s0 output has 2 wires. The connection to the adapter has 3 wires.
Already installed the solar software on the Toon.

Re: Hardware: Toon metering module, "meteradapter"
I hate to say it, but I think you guys are right. Although I found some interesting comments in /qmf/qml/apps/eMetersSettings/EMetersSettingsApp.qml, I'm beginning to think it's hardware related.
I have done some google-ing and noticed that everybody with the same firmware and serial as I have, has Heat or 'Stadsverwarming'. So I think I have to somehow get my hands on a normal meteradapter to test if i can get any Gas-output to my Toon.
Eneco isn't supporting 'Stadsverwarming' anymore so my meteradapter is verry rare! If anyone needs this meteradapter for 'Heat' and would like to make a swap, you van give me an PM.
For now I'm happy that Toon can at least show my actual electric usage.

@EJanus:
Which adapter do you need, do you need a specific serial number / type?
I have an old meter adapter (without P1 smart meter support) collecting dust. If it is the right one for you, I can send it to you..

Re: Hardware: Toon metering module, "meteradapter"
Thank you @lxz, but I have a Iskra 550 AM, so I need a relative new meteradapter with P1 connection.
Re: Hardware: Toon metering module, "meteradapter"
For "Zon op Toon" he will need a 6500-1400-6000 or later (Dual flame/plume red icon at the red 3.5mm jack socket).
ZonOpToon
Hi Folks,
Just bought ZonOpToon (secondhand) for some testing, but it doesn't work. All I get is an - at my solar usage. Also the toon doesn't see that it's connected. What I have done is install the KWH meter, which is flashing a red led. That's looking OK. Connected the KWH cable to the Toon transmitter, a blue light is flashing and in a few seconds it is off. Also "SolarDisplay" and "SolarActivated" are 1. But nothing happends
What am I missing?

Re: ZonOpToon
You should checkout the version of your meter adapter.
PN: 6599-1500-0201 or PN: 6500-1400-6000 should work. others probably won't.

Hmm
Mine is 6500-1102-0401
See viewtopic.php?f=87&t=11969&start=30 topic. See this could be a problem for me too ?
Any change Eneco wil exchange my adapter? I didn't order ToonZon, but did it myself?

Re: Hardware: Toon metering module, "meteradapter"
You can always ask. If the answer is no, there are meter adapters available from MP, every now and then.RdP wrote: Hmm

I have a PN: 6500-1300-7200, so it won't work?

Nope.Asopus wrote:I have a PN: 6500-1300-7200, so it won't work?

It's more to do with the firmware than the actual part number. But for ZonOpToon you will need the adapters with the 0.xx/0.yy version numbers for the firmware.
Re: Hardware: Toon metering module, "meteradapter"
I have the idea of getting a toon subscription for a month or two, would that be sufficient? I than can update Toon (v3 which I'm using now) to V4.x and also the adapter. Would that be a good idea?marcelr wrote:Nope.Asopus wrote:I have a PN: 6500-1300-7200, so it won't work?

Probably yes.....Asopus wrote: I have the idea of getting a toon subscription for a month or two, would that be sufficient? I than can update Toon (v3 which I'm using now) to V4.x and also the adapter. Would that be a good idea?

Re: Hardware: Toon metering module, "meteradapter"
Not sure if you will get a new meteradapter. They will probably only replace it if you also order Zon op Toon. So you will need a (one-time) add-on order for Zon op Toon also. And then they will replace your kWh meter for your solarpanels also. But you can ofcourse try to explain that on the phone with Eneco when you order it.Toonz wrote:Probably yes.....Asopus wrote: I have the idea of getting a toon subscription for a month or two, would that be sufficient? Re: Hardware: Toon metering module, "meteradapter"
I'll try it, I have all original parts. Also Zon op Toon, which is original... So why should I replace it? I'll let you know how it went
