what is wrong ?

(first try) eneco-xxx-xxxxxx:~# ./update-rooted.sh -f
sh: ./update-rooted.sh: not found

(second try) eneco-xxx-xxxxxx:~# sh update-rooted.sh -f
sh: can't open 'update-rooted.sh'

thanks

That error message means it can't find the file. Are you sure the file is still there, and you typed the name correct?

And this is exactly what I mean in the other posts. mAiden is pointing out exactly what is wrong. Even the command line is telling your that the file isn't found. This should tell you that you probably have forgotten the most crucial thing, download the script first.

The update script requires some knowledge of basic linux skills. If you fail you can easily break your just rooted Toon. You have been warned.

the file is there but never mind, i will not ask things again.
you totally right i need a linux course before i can root toon.
till that time i put my toon back on the wall and leave it there.
all the docs i read there was not the information i needed, the docs are some outdated for toons with the newer firmware and the other information is wide spread but some of them i cant use.

want to thank for all the help

Unfortunately this does noet work due to several errors.

When executing the script with: ./updated-rooted.sh
i see the following error:
see file 1...
I have attached the errors that were dumped in the file: /HCBv2/tmp/opkg-cache/upgrade-qb2.sh.log

I hope that someone can help me with this issue

Looks like your Toon cannot connect to the repo. Maybe because network issues or did you had your Toon "touched" by Quby before?

Did you try to run it again? Could also just be a temporary issue at the eneco servers.

I have bought this TOON via Marktplaats. After that i have immdiately rooted the TOON.
The only touch after that was that it was able to ping with QUBY.

I could help you using teamviewer if you send me your 06-number in a private message. I will then whatsapp you.

I just finished helping you. Your toon was somewhere in between two old updates (caused by the previous owner during an official eneco update) and it took a bit of a effort to fix that. Now your toon is on 4.22.7 :-)

During some updates to 5.0.4 a issue in an installed Sonos app was causing a failed upgrade.
In the newest update script the sonos app will be automatically removed before starting the upgrade.

So, if you do a upgrade and find out that your sonos app is missing, please don't blame me. This was necesarry to keep your toon working. Just reinstall the sonos app afterwards.

instead blame me :-)

I made a mistake in the installer file for sonos 1.0.4 which didn't surface earlier.
I just released version 1.0.5 which is clean.

Kind regardz,
