Add the KAKU door sensor in the RFXCOM plug-in on the Input Sensors configuration tab.

I have got a CM15 (http://www.elekhomica.nl/product_info.p ... cts_id=761), is it possible to receive the AMST-606 signals on this interface, without a RFXCOM?

The CM15 can only receive X10.

So if I want to receive KAKU RF signals from that AMST-606 I have to purchase a RFX receiver (http://www.rfxcom.com/receivers.htm) ?

yes, the RFXCOM 433.92MHz receiver is able to receive the KAKU signals.

Then I'm going to purchase an RFXCOM receiver, since the KAKU sensors are cheaper and look nicer.
Thanks for you quick replies, I'm quite new with home automation, but very eager to learn!

To control the KAKU plugin unit you need the RFXCOM transmitter.
Best is to use the new KAKU modules with automatic code system. These units have a dim level that can be set using Home Automation software.

If you order a receiver with an Ethernet interface you must have the model with 2 internal COM ports if you want to use the transmitter too.

So if I want to receive signals from a AMST-606 (or AWST-6000) and at the same time send RF signals to a KAKU device (say AWMR-230) I need a RFXCOM with 2 internal com ports?

Just to be certain...

That's true. For a receiver and a transmitter you need the Ethernet interface with 2 COM ports or 2 USB interfaces.
