The PowerMax Pro has 5 "Vrije Zones" in the naming, now I am trying to change the 5 custom zones to 'real names' like "tuinkamer" instead of "Vrije Zone 1".
The manual seems to point to a section (4. where I can't find that info.
Anybody here that did this and can point me to the right menu?

It is an error in the manual I think.

Refer to chapter 4.9.1.

You cannot change the name that is displayed on the unit's display. It will keep displaying 'Custom 1', 'Custom 2' etc ... But you CAN record your own speech. So in case it alerts you about an alarm in zone 'Custom 1' (= 'Vrije Zone 1') it will announce it as 'Tuinkamer' (Or whatever you record).

I have a PowerMax Pro installed also and tried to change the text itself, but to no luck either.

On their site there seems also not much support or options to upgrade firmware etc.
Guess I am really stuck with those names.

The PowerMax Pro seems to be targeted at the European market as the US Visonic website does not mention it. I had to dig into the English manual for the PowerMax+ to find out about the custom zone thing.

I fitted the PowerMax Pro inside a closet, so I rarely see what is on the display. The speech function to me is therefore more important.

When you connect a PC to the Powermax Pro and use the Visonic software you are able to change the names of the zones. The new names will also show up on the display of the Powermax Pro. However, I also use a MCD-150 which still shows the 'Vrije Zones' names.
