It is the default file, with only one line, the dutch holidays.

weird, the file is only created during first installation from the ToonStore.
After a reboot it should stay untouched.
Almost feels like your changes are not saved properly on the Toon.

I can help you via TeamViewer if you want somewhere next week to see what is going on.....
Just send me a PM with your phone number where I can reach you.

hmmm, did another try: edited the file again, saved it.
Closed the connection and reconnected to check if the file was really saved (which it was) , rebooted, and now the Toon hangs with 'retrieving calendars' which usually was a good sign.
looking good so far....

-edit-
It is amazing mike! Now the calendar is loaded without problems. Shoot me but leak

And now the reboots are back

Going to change the file back, to make sure it is the calendar.

Hi all,

a small maintenance release 1.1.5 is available in the ToonStore.
Changelog:
- settings are now stored in the /mnt/tsc/data folder
- firmware 5 compatible only, support for lower firmwares has been dropped

Kind regards,

installed 1.1.5, but no userSettings.json file to be found anywhere.
It seems one needs be added as /mnt/data/tsc/calendar.userSettings.json

(note the addition of 'calendar.' in front of userSettings.json)

you're right that the file is not created automatically if you never had the app before and install thelatest version for the first time.
Maybe I will change that.
Anyway , you can create the file yourself with this content:
Code: Select all
{"ShowNotifications":"Yes", "Calendar_URL":[ "https://<calendarurl_to_basic.ics>" , "https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/nl.dutch%23holiday%40group.v.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics" ]}

and/or go to the Instellingen page and press 'Opslaan'
