Yes safe to install. Just same functions as 5.28.6 but then with the toon2 update issue fixed.

hmmm, most of the recent versions did not add any new relevant functionality, mainly fixing their own bugs they created themselves in earlier releases.
But that approach is working, everyone is happy now with the fast responding screen after they screwed up. It is a way to get happy customers indeed :D

@Toonz, It is actually a difference of day and night.
Its not 3%faster. I think it is like 300% faster.

I updated from 5.22.14 -> 5.28.9 and also noticed better responsiveness overall.

But unfortunately the z-wave connection became very unstable since the update resulting in zeroed out readings and gray segments in the metering details.
I unpaired->paired the meter-adapter which did not help, and the distance between Toon and the meter-adapter is +/-6m.
It worked flawlessly for the past year, and the times I checked it always showed 5 stars for the connection status, but now it sometimes show 5, other times 1, and most times none at all :?.
Anyone else noticed z-wave problems with the meter-adapter since the update?

First time I hear this. There wasn't a z-wave part update also from your firmware to 5.28.9 so i'm guessing it is something else. Don't know what

Yeah I have no idea what it could be.
I've power cycled Toon and this seem to have improved it a bit.
But I do still see these messages in the logfiles:

Very strange why it's showing "invalidDevice" since I only have one meteradapter bound to Toon.

Try to 'remove all meteradapters'' in the advanced meter adapter configuration screen and then re-add it.

Ok, going to give that a try.
Does that reset the homeID of Open-Zwave so instead of nodeID=9 it will become nodeID=1 again?
It's still strange that it mentions a invalidDevice while there is only one meter-adapter plugged in.

And, does Toon trigger this restart or did the meter-adapter somehow crash?

Code: Select all

["2020-05-31 13:09:42 +0200",98,1,0,"%s",["MeterAdapter restarted uuid=NUMBER1 nodeID=9"]],
