I received the notification about this new firmware.
Is it safe to upgrade?
In general: Does TSC determine if I get such a notification so I can always trust that new firmware will not have a negative impact to my Toon2?

We check the new firmwares always before releasing it to our rooted Toon 'customers'.
We always have to create our own customised resourcefiles (based on the original firmware release) for release via the TSC menu.
In other words, updating firmware via the TSC menu is safe.....

I upgraded to 5.46.4. Toon is working fine but I'm missing TSC.

I tries to fix the upgrade but got some errors:

EDITING: Disable add google DNS on top of resolv.conf
EDITING: disable ovpn connection to quby
EDITING: Activating Toon, enabling ElectricityDisplay and GasDisplay
EDITING: removing data gathering by Quby and whitelisting web services
EDITING: disabling Eneco subscription feature apps to free up memory on this toon 1
EDITING: disabling KPI and weather happ as these are not necessary on rooted toons
EDITING: disabling samba nmbd on toon 1 as probably it is not necessary
EDITING: download certificate store pem file
Finished fixing files!

You are probably blocking access from the toon to the internet (to github.com)
