Can't update Toon 1

Hi,

I'm running a Toon 1 with firmware v.5.39.7. I want to update the Toon to the latest version.

When I run the update script, at some point I get the following message:

Warning: upgrade script from Eneco server is changed. Do you want to continue downloading the files (if not sure, type no and report in the forums)?

When I type yes it'll terminate the update process.

Is there a way to fix this?

Please have some patience. We have to evaluate new Eneco scripts to check the changes (just to be sure it doesn't break the rooting).
When done the upgrade script will continue as expected.
Try again in a few days

My guess something else is wrong. Can you post the whole output of the script?

The update script from eneco hasn't changed in almost a year.

Ok guys, I'm happy to report that as I was running the script in order to copy and paste the output here I was suddenly able to update the Toon.

I have to say I am very surprised, because I have been trying the update script for months now but kept getting that message. Didn't really bother to try and fix it earlier because I wasn't using Toon as much because of summertime.

I did have to run "sh /root/update-rooted.sh -f" and reboot because the ToonStore disappeared after the update process and all my apps were gone from the homescreen. I don't know if that is normal behavior.

In any case, thanks for the help and input guys!

Seems like your toon has wifi problems or internet problems. The update process heavily relies on a good internet connection. Failing to install the toonstore (or the resource file) also shows that seems to be the case.
