toonTemp : show external Temperature sensors on toon

For the toon1 this is possible. Have to look how exactly again, but you would need something to write a file with the raw temperature and point the config of the toon to this file.
For the toon2 it is not possible. It is working differently

if the /etc/opkg/arch.conf file contains nxt it is a toon2. If it has qb2 it is a toon1

I added Toontemp to one of the tiles, but I am not able to remove the tile by holding it for a few seconds.

Deleted ToonTemp and reinstalled it and that worked as well. Very nice app! Great to see the real temperature of my own sensor in the garden!

I tried the app on my Toon 1 and the first 2 domoticz sensors worked well (zigbee sensors) but after that i added 2 Bluetooth sensors (in domoticz) and now Toon freezes.
Can i turn off of delete the app via command line?

Best is to remove the folder "...." from the HCBv2/qml/apps then restart your toon and reinstall from the toonStore. I think you have an incomplete software installation now.

It would be nice if toonTemp could also retrieve sensordata from HomeAssistant.
Should be possible, the only thing currently is that there is a need for a longlived token to use to be able to access the API from home assistant.

In the past I had a thermostat that also used a temperature sensor that is attached to the outside wall of my home for intelligent heating of my house. Now that I have a (rooted) Toon this sensor is no longer used although it is attached to the opentherm module in my heating boiler.
Is there a way to make toonTemp work with this sensor, so I can see what the temperature is outside my house?

This must be a sensor that was installed at the same time the heating boiler was installed.
That was a Nefit heating boiler and has worked for about 15 years. Since about 5 years I now have a Vaillant heating boiler.
The sensor attached to the wall look like this.



Now that I'm typing this, I realize that this sensor is over 20 years old. It's probably not worth using this sensor anymore. There must be better sensors nowadays.

Any advice on which sensor I can buy?
Is there a sensor on the market that I can attach to the opentherm module?

Ik you anly want to show your outside temperature on the toon display, you can follow the diy manual of this topic or buy such unit at Marktplaats.

Is it possible to add a option to enter the values of my "airrohr" PM measuring (SDS011), including temperature and air pressure and humidity (BME280)?
These values come in a IPnr/json file or Ipnr/values.




The Wifi part is not important, can switch it off.

Nice work again oepi-loepi!

Built a couple to measure attic and bedroom temp.
I did notice that using the temp adjustment I could not get near the “true” temperature as measured by my honeywell thermostats.
Would it be possible to enlarge the -3 to +3 correction window in a next release?
