Toon Display on Raspberry Pi

Hello,
Does any one know, or have experience, if you can disconnect the display from Toon1 and connect/use it on a RPI3 or 4?
The idea is to open up the Toon.
Remove everything inside except for the display.
Put a RPI in the case behind the display.
Power it with the 24V with a converter, and hang it back on the wall.
Then put a nice dashboard panel from Homeassistant on the RPI.
Maybe some OpenTherm module for Hass to replace the one from Eneco to make it into a thermostat as well again.
