Anyone interested in power usage of the ASUS TOP, i've put it behind a Plugwise Circle, it will be on for the next 48 hours at least:

Yes I am, my one is running 24/7.
Can you check the difference with the screen on and off?

Robert, any programs running? If you have HStouch can you check if it makes a difference when running?
Screensaver means 15watts less, ddin't expect it to be that much. Brightness fully up?

I don't have HSTouch, not even HS, so i can't test that.
But, ehh, HSTouch is only waiting for a user to touch something and act on that right?, so how much difference would that make?
Same as Notepad running? Or is HSTouch constantly interfacing with HS, even when there's no user interaction? Either way, i don't know. What i can do is look at power at full load; i'll do that.
Screen on was measured with full brightness.
With screen off i meant really switched off, as in energy saving mode off.
I will do a test with screen saver.

OK clear. I was just curious if HStouch was polling a lot and if it would make a difference. My mainscreen has status indicators for a whole bunch of detectors and they react quick. Not sure if it is push or pull
