Cookie expiration?? / All posts marked purple

Post by Richard »

When i log in to the domoticaforum and here are some 'new' posts, then the new posts are marked with the purple color (the ones i have read are yellow). Looks fine and OK with me.

But sometimes (very rarely, once a month??) ALL posts are marked purple, at that particulair moment the 'color' isn't reliable for me anymore and i have too look explicitly at the post date (instead of only reading the purple posts).

Do you guys (and girls) have this 'problem' sometimes? or am i the only one with this nice unwanted feature? Or is this point logically explainable?

PS. Most of the times i read domoticaforum with Firefox 2.0.x

Sometimes an image say more than a bunch of english (crappy) text [:)]

I'll think i found the point when this 'problem' is happening...
Approx. 40 minutes ago (from the time when i wrote this reply) i opened my firefox browser with the domoticaforum page (and some other websites).

As alway's i (or firefox) automatically log in with my username/password on the domoticaforum, i saw in an eyeblink that there were <font color="purple"><b>'new'</b></font id="purple"> topics or reply's to the posts wich i have <b>yesterday read</b>.

Than the moment came that i was away from the computer (about ~ 20 mins), after getting back i wanted to start reading the <font color="purple"><b>'new'</b></font id="purple"> posts on the domoticaform site, and gues what... after opening an forum section, al posts were again marked as <font color="purple"><b>'new'</b></font id="purple"> (purple color).

Anyone ideas?
