Advise needed, RFXCOM transmitter with KAKU

Hi,
I'm new here and trying to control my KAKU devices with my PC. I bought a RFXCOM usb transmitter yesterday.
The KAKU devices I have:
- 3 AC-1000
- 2 AC-300
Can I control this devices when I have only a transmitter and not a receiver?

Yes, you can. I'm actually using the same setup. But you will need something like Homeseer and prefferably the RFXcom plugin for Homeseer as well. Just doenload the 30 day trial and start switching!

I downloaded it yesterday but I tought that the plugin wasn't trial? I'll try it in the evening again
Will it also work on HS 1.7?

Probably, but 1.7 is no longer supported by Homeseer and I don't know if the plugin will work correctly. The plugin also has a 30 day trial period. Just download it via the updater from whitin Homeseer. It will then install and work for 30 days.

The RFXCOM plug-in needs version 2.2.0.66 or higher.
Or use scripts in Homeseer V1.7
Or use HouseBot

Hi,
I can control my lights with Homeseer. But now I want to do something else. I want to control my lights under Linux. What is the easiest program under Linux to start with? I Installed Heyu but I don know if is program can control my KAKU with only a RFXCOM USB transmitter. Can someone give me some hints to start with?
