Powermax pro 12V

I would like to use the PGM uitput to be able to switch a small relay. De PGM output is located on the 'zones' PCB (printed component board) on the backpanel of the unit.
On the zones board is a terminal strip, with the PGM output and some connection terminals for GND and +12V.
My PM pro only supplies 3,2 Volt.
The power supply is connected to the zones PCB. The power runs through the flatcable to the main board. When I disconnect the flatcbale, the 3,2 Volt disappears which means the 12V should come from the main PCB, not directly from the zones PCB.
Must I program a register to switch on the +12V?
Must I enable on a jumper or switch to get the +12V?
The manual does not provide any detailed information.
It is clear to me how to program the PGM output, but since the 12V is missing, nothing happens with the PGM output. Most likely it is derived from this 12V.
Any idea's?
Thank you!
