I have some noise on one of the devices
device is not responding well on the local switch
Controlling from Homeseer is working fine.
PMIX35 is advising filters...problem is I can't find the source of the noise.[:(!]
Other Problem is that one of the DIX1 modules stopped working.
I have same spare AIX and replaced the DIX1
Addressing is going fine.
I can't set the toggle mode active.
Not with PMIX35 or Homeseer.
what can be the problem?
Also Addressing is not happening from PMIX35
PMIX35 can access the device and control it well.
PMIX and AIX are connected to the same socket
Is the PMIX35 working fine in programming mode?
Do I need any new version of the PMIX35 software?

Okay first problem is solved.
I can program my AIX manually
Not sure why Xanura software is not working
Did someone else had any problem with the programing interface?

Yes; I have LOTS of problems: Two SAIX10 modules are very irresponsive to their local switch, which in my opinion should NEVER occur. These modules are not new and it seems that they are getting worse every day.
I haven't contacted Eaton yet because I'm close to giving up on this crap.

@MindBender.
I have at the moment also two SAIX1 modules that don't respond well on the local switch..sometime I need 10 clicks to switch off.
If there is no solution this weekend..both modules have to be removed..

First I will tray the new SAIX12
I also find out that some modules are creating so much noise that others don't work well.

I've got some bad experiences already with Xanura.
- CIX died, stopped to communicate to the PC
- GIX died, blocking other signals in that group, don't know what happend
- SAIX died, same effect on signals as the GIX, something has overheated inside
- DAIX died, IC overheated (3 x 50W halogen spotlights connected)
- SAX1 didn't swith off or communicate. Looked at it this morning, LED was blinking fast, and after a few knocks on it, seems to work again ...
and maybe I've forgotten one ore two modules.
System in service for about 1.5 years now. Quite disappointing for such an expensive system. Nevertheless, I'm quite happy with the overall functionality of the Xanura stuff, especially with Homeseer. And the new PMIX35's diagnostics are quite helpfull.
Some of you guys seem to have good experience with Eaton Service. Can anyone give me the contact info for the service department? And will they also halp/replace stuff from private persons (I mean, not an official Xanura installer)?

I have replaced one of the SAIX where the local switch was not working.
All the other devices close to the SAIX are now working much better.
One replacement to go...this will bring the total on 4 in 2009
Most of this 4 modules did not responding well for long.
All the defect modules are few years old..
I'm happy that the service of Eaton is good.
I will contact Eaton soon for replacement devices
1 DIX1
2 SAIX
1 AIX

Okay..to be 100% sure I have also replaced the last SAIX that was not responding well on the local switch with a new SAIX12
All my device are working fine again..there is no more noise on my network anymore..

Conclusion Defect SAIX can be the source of noise..

It seems like the old modules are not lasting very long, I had some similar problems.
Now with the new product range from Xanura I have no problems so far.
And yes the service is good, they normally replace all those modules.

That's a common misconception: They're merely fulfilling their lawful obligation by replacing modules.
The problem that they're selling junk that keeps breaking down. It usually begins with failing lights. First you ignore it, later you will spend hours of tracking the problem. Appliances are disconnected, filters are placed, all to none avail. Weeks of aggravation and days of trial-and-error later, you start opening junction boxes and the cause turns out to be one of Xanura modules itself! Then you'll have to uninstall and return it, live with non-lit toilet, hall way or bathroom for a week and finally reinstall and program the replacement unit. And four months later it all starts over in another room.
Trust me, swiftly replacing their borked product is the very least they can contribute in solving the problem (they've caused).

In my instances of this problem, SAIX modules seem to have problems switching off their lamps. Switching on never seems to be a problem...
