X10 reliability tester
You may set up a reliability tester somake a macro in the HCB or Homeseer generating at intervals a X10 on/off signal. The number of transmits will be counted by the home controller. (using a variable)
Get an X10 actor with this X10 test-signal address you may use a transformer connected to a 12V relay combined with an electronic counter. Alternative is to get a 230V relay connected to this counter. Check materials at www.conrad.nl counter module 120244 - a 230V relay 503981 with a print 503331.
So let this setup runs for some time and compare the home controller counter with the X10 actor counter it should be the same. If not you will get an indication of the average loss of commands. If you will experience some lost , you may consider sending 2 or 3 times the same command by the home controller.
