How to set a dimmer to a predefined level

Post by bartg »

I bought some klikaanklikuit to test if I will fit my new house with a complete installation. What I found is that the dimmer module (AWMR-210) works in a way that it is hard to set it in a predefined state (say 20%).

What I want to do is to set a dimmer at 20% at night and to set it 100% during day time. I want to do this with Homeseer/RFXcom.

The dimmer works in the following way:
- 1 klik on: switches on the light with the old dimmer setting
- 2 klik on again: the light goes brightes, fades, bright, fades, etc, until you do a klik on again and sets the dimmer level.
- 3 klik off: Always switches of the light

When you do step 2 and don't do a klik on then after some time it looks like it sets the dimmer to 50%.

Has anyone done anything with this? Or found a solution?

Regards,
Bart

create the device as an RFXCOM Output Device of type AC DIMMER and pair this device with the KAKU module.
