Admin. You are correct. For some reason my default keyboard on this forum is in Dutch :-)
Anyway. The question above was how to connect to the IPpower unit.
My home network is in the 10.0.0.0/24 range, and the tool that came with IPPower did not find the unit.

Forunately I did have an old router that was still in the 192.168 range, and after connecting this to a laptop and IPpower I tried again.
Still with no luck. The IpPowerCenter did still not find the unit. (I guess that it's a firewall thing).
So.. I got my good old port scanner, and did a scann on my 192.168 network. And yes. I found the IPPower unit.

Problem now is that I can not login!
The login name "super user" and password "1234567" do not work!

The instructions that came with the unit are really not much of use!

Don't use 'Super User" unless you want to reset the IPPower. Not sure it was user or admin but for sure not super user.
I had the same trouble finding my IPpower on my network, the included software just doesn't work very well. Lucky I can forget about it now with the nice plugin of Rene.

I see.. So whats the default password for "admin" ?
All I want to do is set a fixed IP in my home network (10.0.0.0/24)
Now it's set to 192.168. something.

Close...

Username: admin
Password: 12345678

Use IPedit on the CD to discover the IPPower on your LAN.

IPEdit will only work when you have configured one network interface. I had serveral interfaces configured, physical and through VMWare. Only when I disabled all network interfaces but the one connected to the same network as the IPPower, IPEdit was able to detect the IPPower.

I've managed to set all the needed thing.
1st I needed router in the 192.168.1.0/24 range.
I used an IP scanner to scan the IP range for port 80
I found the IPPower IP, and managed to login with admin and 12345678
After this I changed the IP to my 10.0.0.0/24 range.
Now it's setup to be used in my home network.
I never managed to get any of the tools to work in my setup!
