Hi there I want to be able to activate homeeasy devices using a remote control device which will also control media center etc. I have all the RFXCOM setup which works well for me.
Anyone know any remote controls that would do this ? Either homeeasy directly or preferbly through rfxcom to homeseer and then homeeasy
thanks
chris

There are remote controls by klik on klik off (KAKU) that can send RF signals (which can be received by HS) and have a universal IR remote function as well.
Type: UCR-4285 http://www.klikaanklikuit.nl/producten.asp (at the very bottom)

The ATI remote Wonder works with the RFXCOM receiver. You could use this via the RFXCOM plug-in / Homeseer to control HomeEasy via the RFXCOM transmitter. Not sure if it can be made to work with media center though.

There are a few other remotes supported by RFXCOM. Have a look here for the full list of supported commands http://www.rfxcom.com/documents/hspi_RFXCOM.pdf starts on page 43.

As many people I have several remotes with ir control for tv, av and other units.
If I have the plugwise circles I know that it is possible to control the circles with homeseer.
But can I control the circles also with a remote. I had understand that the remote has to have RF and that the remote send his signal to homeseer and then homseer send it to the unit.
Is it also possible with the same remote to control the ir units in my house?
Who has some experience with suchs remote and can tell me what are the positive and negativs. Is it easy to set up that remote?
