Dear Domotica friends,
I like to point to some IP-gateway modules for basic I/O, called micro FieldCommanders
They are a kind of IPPower modules (although I could not find those modules on this forum in the hardware area, only hidden in de HomeSeer subtopic area).

The uFC series has currently 6 models.
The popular model
uFC9051 has 12 Dig.Inputs; 2 Dig. Outputs and 2 Counter Inputs.
And I know, people on this forum always want price info, so for them: the uFC9051 is 89 euro end-user excl. VAT, S&H not included.
And we are willing to provide you guys a special discount
and if you are a plugwin writer or are willing to promote these devices on your website, we are even willing to provide samples for free. Just send me a pm for the conditions.
En een link voor een
plaatje met afmetingindicatie.
With best domotica regards,

just a small drawback compared to the IPPower, it only has 2 digital outputs so no simple way of controlling things based on the built-in relais.
Regards, Maarten.
Never let a computer know you're in a hurry.

ASCII/Modbus over IP.
The enclosed manual-CD informs you about all the protocol details.
A (Win) device manager-tool is extra help to setup 1 or many devices quickly.

Your answer tells nothing new; so actually it comes down to: "buy, and you'll have your answer".
I'm eager to find out more, but you're not really helping me this way.

@Robert Sorry, but the only correct answer I can give is ASCII;Modbus over IP (Modbus/TCP)
and like X10, KNX or IR-RC5 or all those other standards,
to understand the standard, study the books or internet
and for the details, check the manual.

@mgizmo: yeah, i read they are willing to supply samples.
I've sent a PM around the time of my first reply on this topic.
I only had one fair condition: that i was not going to give away my personal opinion in return for a free sample.
I haven't received an answer yet; strange.[?]

Anyone who received a sample IP-gateway modules from Littlebit and likes to share his findings?

I got one. However, due to lack of time I started with it last friday and had some problems. Hopefully today I will have contact with CER to find out what is going wrong. My first impression is that this device is more promissing than IPPower. The form factor is a lot smaller, everything is in one device instead of 3 and it supports the Modbus protocol, a TCP oriented protocol for industrial devices. I will keep you informed the coming weeks.
Rene.

I have received one too, long time ago in fact, I have a problem when I trying to open it's embedded webpage with a webbrowser, an CER engineer could reproduce the problem recently and is asking their supplier for a solution for it, will try to get it working with DomotiGa in a short while.
Regards,
Ron.
