IKEA bulbs

Yesterday I was in IKEA and they now sell a few halogen bulbs fitted in normal light bulbs claiming a lower use, like 28 watt would replace 40watts etc.
I have placed a few in my house and they work well, dim well.
Guess it is marginal saving but for 'filament addicts' like me it is another good option.
